VaraVara AquaCity

VaraVara AquaCity is a water park in Chișinău. Its site sells tickets through WooCommerce and passes paid orders to the park’s ticket system. At RocketSEO I took over the existing custom theme in 2026 and reworked it substantially.

The task
The site is more than pages. A paid order has to turn into real tickets with QR codes, reach the CRM and come back to the visitor in the right language. On top of that the park runs events that repeat on many dates, and the old calendar could hold only one date per event.

What I built
Events calendar
- Added a repeater of event dates in ACF, so one event can appear on as many days as needed.
- Moved the logic into shared helpers that find events by date, format the date and time and render the event popup.
- Rebuilt the calendar table, the cards, the popup and the AJAX handler on top of those helpers, and switched dates to plain days with the time taken from the park’s working hours.
The platform I work on
- WooCommerce sells tickets. A paid order is sent to the park’s ticket system, which issues tickets with QR codes, and the theme builds a PDF ticket and an email in the buyer’s language.
- Orders and form leads also create deals in AmoCRM.
- 19 page templates (events, restaurants, bungalows, corporate and holiday offers, subscriptions and more) and post types for events, zones, activities and vacancies.
- Each template loads only its own CSS and JS, with SCSS sources and Swiper, lightGallery and phone input libraries.
